'Twas In the Moon of Wintertime

"…softly to the stable, softly for a moment come…"

Celebrate a quiet Christmas with traditional carols and songs. Includes O Come, O Come Emmanuel, What Child Is This, Mary Had a Baby, In Dulci Jubilo, and more. Arranged for voice, piano and keyboard.

"Lorraine Nelson Wolf's 'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime is an intensely lyrical album, rare and gentle like the softest flakes of snow, but warm when the lovely music melts against your cheek. I love music like this--a little folk, a little classical, with new age tinges. This intimate album is all about Nelson Wolf''s remarkably warm and welcoming voice and accomplished piano accompaniment, and eleven excellent tracks of traditional holiday fare. Nelson Wolf does a magnificent Mary Had a Baby, which includes an a cappella final verse that had me smiling from ear to ear. 'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime is a first-class Christmas album for a broad audience. Lorraine Nelson Wolf's presence here provides an immediate glow; bring that soft light into your living room for an exceptional holiday experience."

Come Follow Me!

Winner of a 2004 Parent's Choice Award!

Welcome to the very special world of children's music! Sing along with Lorraine and learn these simple but beautifully arranged folk and Waldorf-inspired songs. Many of them relate to nature and the changing seasons. You'll find Come Follow Me! a wonderful way to share your children's delight in watching twirling colorful leaves, tracing snowflakes as they melt on the windowpane, and celebrating that "Spring Is Coming!" once again. Arranged for voice with piano, accordion, harp, or guitar accompaniment.

"What I love most about this collection of seasonal songs is its spare and quiet beauty. Lorraine Nelson Wolf's voice fills that quiet space with artful, sweet singing. One of Wolf's gifts is her ability to craft a story with each song. This collection is a valuable resource for those, like me, who are trying to build a repertoire of songs to sing with young children as we make our way though the seasons of the year."
